i’ve been thinking about bill
on and off all day today
seems that many of us forget
that at some point, we are
going to die, time expired
he is already planning on it
what is he doing with his time
looking for ways to spread joy
asking others to do the same
not sure if that is selfish or selfless
it just makes me walk through
my day, on the edge of a smile
looking for reasons to jump in
*visit Bill

People like Bill have so much to teach us – a dose of reality that stirs us out of our listless fantasy and teaches us how to live life.

I know, a big dose! I am so thankful. 🙂

Very cool, Jaymie. Extremely cool. It made me think, which can’t ever lead to anything good, but at least it made me pause.

Joy, a worthwhile goal.

This is Lovely Jaymie, and so true. So true. Silindile does the same for me. They both remind me daily to GET OUT THERE with zeal!!!
Thank You and Cheers and Namaste. 🙂

Absolutely. 🙂 Do you find yourself just sort of smiling as you go about your day? I’ve started to and it is the best blessing ever!

Your words bring us all many things to reflect on and we all realize what a truly compassionate person you are! I smile everyday….my rule….no matter what! :)I just love Bill’s blog and his messages to us all!

He has really increased the time I spend smiling. 🙂 Loved the starfish reminder! Matters to that starfish.

Joy is like chocolate, and is best when shared. 🙂

Mmmm…like rich chocolate cake with the best icing and a huge glass of milk!

He made me switch on my laptop today, I just had to hear what he has to say because it’s always thought provoking.

I know, me too. Hey, I’ve been having a difficult time gettting through to your site the last couple of days. Has your server been down?

this makes me want to know Bill as well as jump into my own day spreading smiles and one kind word at a time

There is a link under the poem or he is listed as “dying man’s daily journal” in my blogroll. He is really upbeat, I really admire him.

Ah, my dear friend I am so very honored and flattered by your kind words and those of the others here. I thank you so very much.
I know my days on this earth are limited. I look back on my life and see so many opportunities for joy and happiness I deprived myself of. A moment spent in anger is a moment of joy lost forever.
I hope that by sharing my thoughts, feelings and even mistakes others may learn to appreciate the blessing in their own lives. Instead of just waiting for tomorrow to start living and enjoying.
I appreciate your support and admire your postings.
Bill
