snuck out the window
with heels not meant for walking
better off barefoot
Jayme … where do you find these pictures? LMAO … great Haiku … I’ve only written one in my life, in Jr. High school and that is lost, maybe for the good. 🙂
Haiku has been my personal nemesis. Most of the pictures and artwork are my own. This is a picture of Haight Street in San Fran.
My brain pays attention to verbal and visual with equal ability, if you believe the tests, and so I really enjoy that you have pictures with you poems (and pictures that add so much to your writing). I have only written one story based on my pixel art, which appears in my blog without the picture. I really enjoy your stuff!
Thanks Bill! Glad you enjoy the pictures.
That picture is ALMOST as awesome as the haiku! HA! GREAT stuff, Jaymie!
Thank you Darc, gotta love San Fran!
This just made me smile… I could so picture walking around San Fran and seeing this. And great Haiku! I’ve got to learn the art of this – but it means counting my syllables, right? 🙂
Syllables, traditional is 5, 7, 5. I find them to be the most difficult to write. If you make it to Haight-Ashbury, be sure to look up! 🙂
Great photo, great haiku. You are really some cowgirl!
That’s funny. Not really very many cowgirls in my part of Colorado m’am.
I like it, may I give it a try?
House of ill repute?
Too bad i’m not a leg man!
I’d prefer ice-cream
Nice, now add a pic of a dripping cone. lol
I imagine she’ll be barefoot soon!
