I like that metaphor, sometimes I feel like I”m dancing on the head of a pin myself. I wonder – would it be easier to thread the needle or impale myself upon it.
OH GOD! YOU JUST SLAYED ME!!! My heart and soul shot out of my chest and I sobbed at Your words. Good Lord, You are SOOOOOO gifted, Jaymie. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Cheers and Namaste.
I had one of those boxes when I was a girl… I loved that thing… til the little ballerina had bent one too many times, and wouldn’t stand up on that pin strait anymore. I remember feeling sorry for her… and myself.. but, really, she was a lot more realistic that way… I should have been happy for her that the pressure to be perfect was gone!
I know the feeling. I literally tried to sew the door shut on the music, but it still seems to find a way through the cracks and all the little spots I missed. Love it, J!

Very intersting perspective! Never did have my own music box- remember my neighbors with a tiny dancing ballerina tho- so cute it was.
The music always calls me, tho I don’t always dance. Tunes appear in my head n i wonder how they got there…
Thanks for the visit to ESR today!
